Saves

Save reels from any app into folders

Instagram has its Saved tab, TikTok has Favorites, YouTube has Watch later. Each list lives inside its own app, so the recipe reel sits in one place, the hotel TikTok in another, and the article a friend sent is somewhere in a chat.

Saves is one place for all of them. It works from the share sheet, so it works in any app with a Share button.

Free on iPhone, with optional Pro. Not on Android yet.

How to save a reel

  1. Tap Share on the reel. If the app shows its own list first, pick the option that opens your iPhone's share sheet, often called More or Share to.
  2. Tap Saves. The first time, scroll the row of apps to the end, tap More, then Edit, and add Saves to your favorites so it stays at the front.
  3. A small card says where the reel went, Saved to Recipes for example, and closes itself. Tap another folder on the card to move it there.

What Saves keeps

The link, its title and its picture, so you can tell what it was at a glance and search for it later. Saves does not download the video. Tap the save and the reel opens where it was posted, in its own app or in Safari. If the post is deleted later, your save keeps its title and picture, but the video goes with the post.

Sorted for you

With Sorting with Claude on, Saves picks the folder from the title, the page and where the link came from. Claude files 30 links a month for free, and every link with Saves Pro. When it is not sure, or past the free 30, the link waits in your Inbox for you to file.

Folders you share

Planning a trip? Make a folder, send the invite link, and everyone drops their reels in from their own phone. A dot marks what you have not opened yet, and Saves can send you a notification when someone adds links or joins.

Coming from another app?

Instagram lets you download a file of your saved posts, and Saves imports it, along with Pocket, Raindrop and browser bookmarks. How to import your links.
